Monday, March 23rd.

DAILY ROUTINE.  TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY. WRITE AND READ ON THE NOTEBOOK.

Aa Bb Cc Dd Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii Jj Kk Ll MAKE STUDENTS READ THREE TIMES EVERYDAY

Objective: To say how we use water and electricity. Natural resources. Read this for students.

Read this for students.

The earth gives us many things like trees, land, water and air. We need to be careful about how we use these resources because they are not man-made, They are part of the natural world. Watch this video please.

Tuesday, March 24th

DAILY ROUTINE :   READ THE ALPHABET 3 TIMES.

Objective: To understand the concepts of saving and wasting water and electricity.

Vocabulary:  Water, electricity, save, waste, lights, TV.

Activity:  Place the mini-flashcards on the table, make students repeat what Dino is doing

Dino is wasting water
Dino is saving water.
Dino is wasting energy.
Dino is saving water.
Dino is planting a tree.
Water pollution etc.

Repeat all of them 3 times.

Transfering knowledge: SB 104 Trace first.   Then repeat what dino is doing, decide this is good or bad.

AB  25 cut and paste on the notebook.


Wednesday, March 25th

DAILY ROUTINE :  READ THE ALPHABET 3 TIMES.

Objective: To understand the importance of recycling to sort trash by type; to count to 100 by tens.

Vocabulary: Plastic, metal, paper, recycle, numbers.

Activity: Check and say what type of trash is in your trash can; metal, plastic, or paper. If possible sort them.

Take a recycle sheet make 100 little pieces of paper, count them then make groups of 10. now count each group 10 by 10 write the number next to each group. 10, 20, 30 etc.

Transfering knowledge :  SB 105. On the notebook write 10,20,30,40,50,60 etc.


Thursday, March 26th

DAILY ROUTINE :   READ THE ALPHABET 3 TIMES.

Objective:  To identify materials, to reuse materials to make something new.

Transfering knowledge: SB 106 identify which material they are using.

Make something with recycling material. Think about somethig that you will really use. This is not necesary you finish it today.


Friday, March 27th

DAILY ROUTINE : READ THE ALPHABET 3 TIMES.

Objective: To identify sea animals, To sequence a story.

Vocabulary: Whale, dolphin, shark, octopus, starfish, turtle, fish, jellyfish.

Activity: Listen to the story " pollution in the deep blue see "   track 120.   Point to the corresponding picture while students watch and listen. Play the story again.

Transfering knowledge: SB 107 Describe what they see repeating many times while they color the frame.

Picture 1. They are having a picnic.

Picture 2. Dolphins are swimming next to the plastic bag.

Picture 3. The boat has trash. Some trash falls in the water.

Picture 4. The blue whales are swimming next to the trash.

Picture 5. The family is playing on the beach, The plastic rings go into the sea.

Picture 6. The turtles are swimming next to the plastic rings.

Picture 7. The teacher is talking about pollution.

Picture 8. The children are picking up trash on the beach.

Picture 9. The beach looks clean, the children and the sea animals are happy.

In the end connect the story frames.    Then open AB 26  /   83  paste on the notebook in two different parts    POLLUTION       /       CLEAN
